Companion Traveling
If you’re traveling with a preferred companion, each traveler may register and pay separately, or together. You can make this choice at checkout and leave a note for our staff with the name of your companion.
If you do not have a companion but would like us to pair you with one, please register and pay at the double occupancy rate and our staff will pair you with another available traveler.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I begin?
You simply need to arrange your own travel from wherever you live to the Delhi Airport arriving on September 12 where you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to our home base in the city of Delhi. From that moment on, you can simply surrender to a 13-day, life-transforming itinerary. You will be returned back to Delhi airport on September 25 at 3pm for your journey home.
Book your flight arriving in Delhi on September 12 and returning home September 25. Of course you are welcome to stay longer if your schedule permits.
What documents do I need to travel to India?
Your current passport (valid for the duration of your stay) & a visa for India. To get your e-Visa online, visit https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html
Do I need travel insurance?
YES. Travel insurance is MANDATORY for all davidji India Pilgrimage travelers and should be taken out right after you register.
What should my policy need to cover?
At a minimum, your travel insurance should be ‘comprehensive,’ providing coverage for cancelation of your trip, loss of luggage, personal items, personal accident, medical expenses, and personal liability (with a minimum coverage of US$200,000).

What clothes do I need to bring?
Think your most comfortable, hot weather clothes. Temps are expected to range between 70-90 degrees F. The rainy season is over; but we may have a few sprinkles.
Pack lightly – mostly short sleeves, light long sleeve top, shawl, long pants, sneakers, yoga clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, comfortable hat, shorts, sandals, lots of socks, personal hygiene items.
Pack for a week – you will have opportunities to wash your clothes.
Do not bring a hair dryer, makeup mirror, high heels, dressy outfit, or over coat!
What are the medical and vaccination requirements?
Of course you should consult with your doctor or medical professional. But we recommend that you get a Hepatitis A & a Typhoid vaccination before your journey.
According to the CDC, there is no risk of Yellow Fever in India.
How much money should I bring?
Once you arrive in India, all of your air and ground travel, your overnight hotel stays – tips & taxes, your entrance fees to all holy sites, and our celebration meals throughout the pilgrimage – are included in your registration.
Your daily breakfast is included in your tuition as we’ll as several special lunches and celebration dinners. While at the ashram, all meals are included. So expect that you will be paying for approximately one week of lunches and dinners as we travel throughout India.
You may want to shop, buy souvenirs, clothing, trinkets, and memories of your journey. We will have opportunities to exchange currencies – and credit cards are welcomed in virtually every place we go. Bring $500 if you plan on shopping in the markets throughout our journey.

Sept 12 – Arrive in Delhi – check-in, relax; free time & meet-up
Sept. 13 – Travel to Jaipur – the Pink City; check-in day of connection & mantra ceremonies
Sept 14 – Jaipur We will spend the day meditating, practicing kundalini yoga, swimming, dining on magnificent Indian delicacies, and connecting in the splendour of our Jaipur resort as we awaken our souls to the divine.
Sept 15 – Rajasthan to Agra
Sept 16 – Agra –sunrise at the Taj Mahal
Sept 17 – Agra to Varanasi – the sacred city of Shiva – “the city of temples and learning.”
Sept 18 – Varanasi – sunrise on the Ganges; exploring the ancient temples; and the sacred Buddhist town of Sarnath where Buddha gave his first teaching
Sept 19 – Varanasi to Amritsar – the city known as “the pool of the nectar of immortality”. Evening Palki Ceremony at the Golden Temple
Sept 20 – Amritsar – temple tour; visit to the Wagha border
Sept 21 – Travel day
Sept 22 – Rishikesh – check-in to the ashram of Yogrishi Vishvketu in the Foothills of the Himalayas. We will immerse in timeless lessons with the guru, practice Akhanda yoga, and meditate each day surrounded by the magnificent energy of RIshikesh.
We will watch the sunrise over the Himalayas, dip in the Ganga. The Beatles spent many moons at The Maha Rishi’s Ashram, and we will trace their footsteps, then watch the sun set over the Ganga while attending evening Aarti ceremony at Pamarth Niketan Ashram, in the presence of Swamiji.
Sept 23 – day trip to Hardwar – one of four sites where drops of Amrit, the elixir of immortality, accidentally spilled over from the pitcher while being carried by the celestial bird Garuda.
Sept 24 – Rishikesh – free day to tour the city, shop, swim in the Ganges, evening closing ceremony
Sept 25 – Travel home; or stay a few extra days to explore Delhi before your departure.
