About Leigh

Out of a deep and critical need to find fulfillment and wholeness, Leigh found the transformative influence of meditation. From that place of stillness and silence, she has experienced a personal transformation from exhaustion and burnout to increased consciousness and energy to serve others, presence and self-empowerment.  That opened up a path into sound healing and returning to her musical roots. Having grown up in a musical family, singing and playing instruments seemed second nature to Leigh.  However, her relationship with music felt more disciplined and scripted, after having studied and performed for many years as a concert harpist.  Subsequently, after a 25-year career in technology and with the intention of deepening her own healing, Leigh found her way back to sound through crystal singing bowls, toning, meditation and completing the Globe Institute Sound Healing Certificate Program. She now joyfully offers group sound ceremonies, in which people can receive supportive, healing vibration. The waves of sound and vibration help calm the nervous system and bring one’s body back to balance. Different sounds can help release stuck energy whether physical or emotional.  It’s also an invitation to relax, let go of the daily routine and receive beneficial sound.

Leigh became a certified Meditation Teacher through davidji’s 285-hour Master’s of Wisdom and Meditation Teacher Training program in 2018 and augmented in 2020, through the Deeper Still certification.  Leigh continues to expand her soundscape and knowledge, with Puget Sound teachers Irene Ingalls of the Seattle Sound Temple and Molly Knight Forde of the Awareness School.  Based in Kirkland, Washington, she offers her sound ceremonies and meditation for retreats, gatherings and private 1:1 clients.
