This retreat is eligible for 35-hours of Continuing Education Units for 200 and 500-hr Registered Yoga Teachers.
Details
davidji hosts, leads and guides your experience from sunrise to early evening each day of of the retreat beginning with sunrise meditation on the sand as the waves roll in, yoga on the beach, morning activities, afternoon sessions and evening celebrations. You will also:
- Learn your personal mantra in a special ceremony;
- Cultivate a regular meditation practice;
- Experience a variety of meditation techniques you can use in every-day life;
- Let go of what no longer serves you;
- Gain clarity on what it is that you do want in life;
- Set your intentions & plant seeds;
- Lean in the direction of your dreams and desires;
- Manifest a magnificent life RIGHT NOW…and for many years to come.
FAQ
Do I need a certain level of experience before attending this retreat? All you need is an open mind and open heart, and the willingness to dive deep into your personal dharma – so you can live a purpose-driven life with greater fulfillment.
Where does the workshop take place? You will experience the natural and peaceful setting at The Meditation Nest, a private retreat just steps from the sand, overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Carlsbad, California. We call this the “SweetSpot of the Universe.” It’s a 30-minute drive from the San Diego International Airport by taxi, car service or rental car, which you will need to arrange. You will receive detailed driving instructions and an address after you register.
What’s included in tuition? Tuition is $3,575 and early-bird is $3,015. Tuition includes five days with davidji, instructional materials and light refreshments throughout the day. Travel, meals and lodging are not included.
Do you offer deferred payments? Yes! We offer a convenient payment plans to help you plan your experience. You can choose this option during registration.
What are the accommodations like at the Meditation Nest? The Meditation Nest is a private beach-front home in Carlsbad with nine bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. Toiletries, towels and washcloths are provided, and there are washers, dryers, hot tubs, couches, chairs and backjacks available for use throughout the week. You will be within short walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shopping and hotels. Rooms that remain available for booking will show as an option for booking at the time of your registration.
What should I pack? Comfortable, casual clothes such as yoga pants, sweats, flip flops and running shoes. Layers are good in case the weather turns chilly, which happens often on the coast. Other items to pack: a blank journal, light reading, toiletries and any comforts of home.
Are meals included? Travel, lodging and meals are not included in the tuition; however we are right in the center of Old Carlsbad and steps from myriad restaurants, cafes and bakeries that serve organic, vegetarian, vegan, ethnic and gluten-free cuisine. We will have breaks for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Can I bring my own food? There is limited space to store your personal food preferences and dietary supplements. Light snacks and beverages will be available to you daily. We will provide you with recommended local eateries and information.
Will I have designated free time? The schedule is pretty full, but you will have time for reflection, personal journaling and meals on your own.
How many people are enrolled in each workshop? We keep our groups small to allow for the most personal connection among students at the retreat.
Payment Plans and Cancellation
davidji and his team strive to provide a deeply meaningful and enriching experience for all of our event attendees. We understand and honor the reality that life circumstances sometime arrive creating challenges. If you have already enrolled in the program, and if for any reason you are called to cancel your training, all requests to cancel must be received in writing to teamdavidji@davidji.com, and you agree to honor the cancellation deadlines noted in this policy.
— Payments made via payment plans are not eligible for a refund at any time. If you choose to cancel, we will simply discontinue future payments.
— If you choose to cancel for any reason within 7 calendar days of the day you registered, you will receive a refund for tuition only minus a 5% cancellation fee.
— If you purchased lodging at the Meditation Nest, you are not eligible for a refund.
— Cancellations made after the 7-day grace period are not eligible for a tuition refund.
— Cancellations made within 14 calendar days of the start day of the event are not eligible for a refund.
— Trip insurance is highly recommended to cover you in case of emergency. Trip insurance is very affordable, and will cover your costs if you are forced to cancel. You are welcome to use any trip insurance you prefer.
